Diogu gets career high: Sacramento forward Ike Diogu had a career-high 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 41 minutes off the bench Monday at Denver. He hit 14-of-20 shots from the field and 4-of-7 shots from the foul line. Diogu's previous career high was 27 points on Dec. 23, 2005, at Detroit when he was with Golden State.

Fantasy Analysis

Diogu will occasionally be a Fantasy tease because he's capable of playing well but doesn't post consistent stats. The safe bet is to ignore Diogu in all leagues going forward because chances are he will disappear again.

F Ike Diogu, however, appears to have the best shot of returning, despite being a free agent. The final two games from Diogu (31 points and 11 rebounds at Denver and 28 points and 13 rebounds at Minnesota) certainly impressed the Kings. The next step came in the June 25 draft, as the notion of the Kings drafting a big man with either of their two first-round picks would have almost certainly meant Diogu would not be a priority. As it was, though, they took guard Tyreke Evans (Memphis) and slight small forward Omri Casspi (Israel), leaving hope for a Diogu return. 62/6/2009
