| Jack to miss at least a week: According to the team's official website, Hornets G Jarrett Jack will miss at least a week due to a knee bruise. He re-aggravated the injury on Wednesday against the Bulls, scoring only four points to go with three assists, well below his averages of about 15 points and seven assists. Greivis Vasquez got the start in his place on Friday night against Portland. (Updated 02/10/2012) |

| Jack missed three games prior to returning on Wednesday due to the injury and it looks as though the Hornets are going to give him some extra time to heal. He has been having the best campaign of his career after coming over in the Chris Paul deal, averaging 15.2 points with 6.7 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 22 games. Keep an eye on his status going forward but it looks as though he is going to miss most of Week 8 (Feb. 13-19) if not all of it. Jack should be considered a solid option in most Fantasy formats, when healthy, but owners should line up healthier options for the upcoming scoring period. (Updated 02/10/2012). |
