Johnson on his way to Toronto?: The Toronto Raptors have agreed to send swingman Carlos Delfino to Milwaukee in exchange for power forward Amir Johnson as part of a four-player trade, a person with direct knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press on Monday. The deal would also send guard Roko Ukic to Milwaukee in exchange for Bucks guard Sonny Weems. The person spoke to AP on condition of anonymity because the deal has not been completed.

Fantasy Analysis

Johnson became more expendable when the Bucks signed Hakim Warrick, a move that came after Memphis rescinded its qualifying offer to the restricted free agent. Even in Toronto, however, his value is not expected to be very high from a Fantasy standpoint. He will be a role player and won't get enough minutes to matter.

F Amir Johnson hopes he finally has found a home. In late June, the forward was shipped from Detroit to Milwaukee. It's good he didn't buy a house or sign a lease considering Johnson was traded again two months later to Toronto. "I was just starting to look for a place (in Milwaukee)," Johnson said. "Luckily, I didn't lease one out because that would have been all hectic trying to cancel the arrangements." Johnson was dealt by the Bucks along with swingman Sonny Weems for guards Carlos Delfino and Roko Ukic. Johnson now will be looking to have the growth many projected would occur after he was taken by Detroit straight from high school in the second round of the 2005 NBA draft. Johnson didn't play much his first two seasons. In his third season, he averaged 3.6 points. Johnson was given a bigger role last season, starting 24 games. But he didn't respond well, and averaged just 3.5 points. "I knew (Pistons executive Joe Dumars] was going to make some changes, but I didn't know what changes he was going to make," Johnson said of the Pistons giving up on him. "I was kind of shocked. Then I kind of thought about it. I know it's a business. I know anything could happen. They traded Chauncey (Billups) and all those guys." Johnson became expendable by the Bucks later in the summer when they signed free-agent forward Hakim Warrick. 94//2009
