  • Paul battles through sore groin: Clippers guard Chris Paul suffered a re-aggravation of his lingering groin injury during Game 5 vs. the Grizzlies, however unsurprisingly, he played through it on Friday as the Clippers tried to close the series out in Game 6. While Paul was able to play, he seemed limited by the injury, finishing with a personal series-low of 11 points on 4 of 9 shooting. He did grab five rebounds and dish out seven assists, with three steals as well, however he clearly did not seem 100 percent comfortable as he fouled out after 35 minutes and the Clippers fell, 90-88.

    Fantasy Analysis
The best possible thing for Paul’s health would have been for the Clippers to close the series out and hopefully get some extra time off before the next series begins, but now he will have to fight through the pain again on Sunday for Game 7. He will try to push the Clippers to the second round of the playoffs on Sunday, and remains a must-start Fantasy option despite the lingering soreness.

May 19, 2012: Duncan, Spurs stay calm in comeback for 3-0 lead over Clippers
LOS ANGELES -- Not even a 24-point lead is safe against the dominant San Antonio Spurs, especially when the feast-or-famine Clippers are on the other end of it. The Spurs remained undefeated in the playoffs -- and since April 11 -- by storming back from two-dozen points down in the second quarter and beating the Clippers 96-86 to take a 3-0 series lead.
May 18, 2012: NBA EOB Roundtable: Is West still best?
With the Heat down 2-1 and things looking bleak, the Bulls knocked out due to Derrick Rose's injury, and Boston on what you would think to be its last stand, all the talk about the strength of the East seems a little premature. We decided to roundtable on the state of the East vs. West, and what's the better conference now and in the future.

May 18, 2012: Spurs wear out Clips, take control
Tony Parker scored 22 points on his 30th birthday, Tim Duncan had 18 and the San Antonio Spurs beat the fading Los Angeles Clippers 105-88 on Thursday night, pushing their winning streak to 16 and taking a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series.
