Clippers trade Randolph, keep Camby : The Los Angeles Times reports that the Clippers and Grizzlies agreed to a deal that will send Zach Randolph to Memphis in exchange for Quentin Richardson. Because of salary cap rules, the deal can't be completed until next week.

Fantasy Analysis

The Clippers say they are committed to giving rookie Blake Griffin a "long leash" even as a rookie and this move will allow them to do so. This move should allow the Clippers to rotate Marcus Camby and Chris Kaman at the center position and it will ease some of the congestion that threatened to cut into each of the players' Fantasy appeal.

F/C Marcus Camby's shot selection must improve next season. There were far too many times when he hoisted up ill-advised jumpers, and as evidenced by his paltry career free-throw percentage, he's not built to do that. With his size, he should be attacking the basket and taking his defender into the post as often as possible. The offense will run much more smoothly if Camby sticks to what works for most guys his size. 52/4/2009
