Camby able to start season opener: Clippers C Marcus Camby, originally declared doubtful for the season opener because of a sprained ankle, stepped up with rookie Blake Griffin sidelined by a fractured kneecap and played 21 minutes at power forward Tuesday at the Lakers. He had 14 points, six rebounds and four assists.
