  • Hill might retire: The Arizona Republic reports that Clippers forward Grant Hill, who has 27 appearances, a 3.2 scoring average and a career-low 38 percent shooting, could retire after this season. He is 40 years old. “Strong chance,” Hill said. “I’m leaning toward it. I want to get to the end of the year and offseason and think about it but I’m pretty confident that’s where my mind is right now. I’ve enjoyed it. ... I’ve really just focused on enjoying the last year, if this is the last year, and not focusing on the future. We’ll get to the end and once the end’s over, I’ll start worrying about what I’m going to do from there.”

    Hill's best days are clearly behind him, and he's not worth using now as he gets toward the end of this season. He has been a great Fantasy option for many years, but we wish him well if he does decide to retire after this year. Even if he does return in 2013-14 he should not be drafted in the majority of leagues.
