G Anthony Johnson, as expected, picked up his option to remain with the team, despite being upset about not playing in the NBA Finals. Johnson will make $2.1 million next season. The trade of Rafer Alston got him his spot as the backup point guard for another year. The Magic, though, are expected to add a third point guard in the coming weeks through free agency.
