McGrady participating in practices: The Houston Chronicle reports that Tracy McGrady has participated as a substitute in portions of practice. McGrady is not playing longer stretches of the scrimmage portions of practices, but is more regularly participating in workouts while working his way back from microfracture surgery on his knee.

Fantasy Analysis

The timetable for McGrady's full return to practices has not changed. General manager Daryl Morey said McGrady will have an MRI exam Nov. 23 and the team will have a better feel for when he'll return after that. McGrady won't come back before doctors say he can. We don't expect to see him back until some time in January or February.
