| Ratliff gets on the court: After spending most of the season on the shelf, Lakers center Theo Ratliff saw some action on Thursday night versus the Mavericks. He came on to shoot the pair of free throws, missing both, after Jason Terry, Matt Barnes, Brendan Haywood and Steve Blake were all ejected from the game. Ratliff would later take the court for 42 seconds to end the game so Pau Gasol could get off the court. That's all the veteran would do in the Lakers 110-82 win. “I’m a little sore, but it is what it is,” Ratliff told the Orange County Register prior to the game. “I can do what I normally do, but of course, conditioning is a problem at times. I haven’t played so I get winded.” (Updated 04/01/2011) |

| Ratliff had been out of action for four months because his surgically repaired left knee continued to give him problems. The soon-to-be 38-year-old center probably didn't expect to see any court time on Thursday, but the Lakers may need him come playoff time. At this stage of the season it's good to see Ratliff back, but he has no Fantasy value in any format. (Updated 04/01/2011). |
