| Wallace to join Lakers? : Forward Rasheed Wallace plans to sign with the Lakers, reports CSNNE.com Wallace, who hasn't played in NBA since Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals, is expected to be used in a reserve role, according to the report. "His days as a starter in this league are gone," a league source told the website "I think he knows that, and so do the Lakers. But think about it. Of the big men that are available, is there one that's really better? And if he's gotten himself in shape, adding him becomes a huge get for them." (Updated 02/24/2012) |

| There is still no word from the Lakers about the signing, but since they only have 14 players on their roster, the team would not have to waive anybody to make room for the 37-year-old. Fantasy owners should keep eye on the situation over the weekend to see when or if this move becomes official. Wallace averaged 9.0 points and 4.1 rebounds during his final season with the Celtics, so he would only have minimal Fantasy value if he did return -- especially in a reserve role.
