K.G.'s message is consistent: Let's make it happen -- now
And there remains the presence of Garnett, who in his 11th season still is averaging 23.0 points, 12.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists.
"He goes out every night and puts the numbers on the board," Wittman said. "Even when you think he might have a bad game, you look at the stat sheet and wonder, 'Wow, where did that came from?' He's the consummate pro. He goes out every night and does his job.
"He's great. If all of them were like that, it would be easy. He listens, he cares and you mix all those things together and you get a guy like him."
Wittman knows Garnett, who seems to be the subject of trade rumors every year, is frustrated with the losing.

"It's all about getting consistency and who can get something going," Garnett said. "The last six teams are a juggling act. We just have to get something going. It's not just going to happen. We have to be consistent."
