Nets release G Thomas

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Guard Billy Thomas was waived by the New Jersey Nets on Monday after seeing limited action in four games.

Thomas, who signed Dec. 24, scored two points in four games. He had played with the Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League earlier this season.
