Roundup: Jazz extend home win streak to 17

SALT LAKE CITY -- Deron Williams had 21 points and 11 assists and the Utah Jazz won their 17th consecutive home game, beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 105-76 on Wednesday night.

Utah improved to 26-3 at home and is two wins away from tying the team record for consecutive home wins.

Carlos Boozer had 16 points and 14 rebounds, Mehmet Okur added 15 points and nine boards and Ronnie Brewer scored 16 for the Jazz. C.J. Miles, filling in for injured forward Andrei Kirilenko (hip), was the only Utah starter not to score in double figures, finishing with nine points.

Utah lost at Minnesota -- one of just 12 wins this season for the Timberwolves -- 111-100 on Feb. 26. The Jazz easily avenged the upset and led by at least 20 for most of the second half.

Randy Foye scored 18 points and Al Jefferson had 11 points and 10 assists for the Timberwolves.

The Jazz have won three straight overall and four of five. The last time the Jazz won this many home games in a row was in 1996, when EnergySolutions Arena was still the Delta Center. Full story

Grizzlies 100, Nets 93

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Hakim Warrick scored a season-high 25 points and the Memphis Grizzlies snapped their nine-game losing streak with a victory against the New Jersey Nets.

Warrick connected on 9-of-15 from the field as Memphis won for the first time since Feb. 12.

The teams were tied at 73 after three periods, and Memphis entered the game 1-39 when tied or trailing entering the final quarter.

Mike Miller scored 22 for Memphis, and Darko Milicic added 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Kyle Lowry finished with 15 points, and hit all four of his free throws in the final 28 seconds to help Memphis maintain the lead.

Raptors 108, Heat 83

MIAMI -- Rasho Nesterovic scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Jamario Moon added 14 points and the Toronto Raptors embarrassed the Miami Heat for the second time this season.

Anthony Parker and Andrea Bargnani each scored 12 points for Toronto, but Bargnani's night will be best remembered by a scary collision with Miami's Alexander Johnson that knocked the 2006 No. 1 overall pick out of the game early in the third quarter.

Marcus Banks scored 21 points, and Ricky Davis and Dwyane Wade each finished with 16 for Miami, which lost for the 29th time in 32 games to retain the NBA's worst record (11-47). Wade left the game with 1:46 left in the third quarter and didn't return, since the outcome was already sealed.

The Raptors used a 16-0 first-quarter run -- the worst yielded by Miami all season -- to take control, and a 15-0 burst in the third quarter to seal their second easy win on the Heat home floor in a month.

Bucks 118, Sonics 106

MILWAUKEE -- Charlie Villanueva scored 32 points, his highest output in nearly two years, and had 11 rebounds as the Milwaukee Bucks scored a season-high 118 points to beat the Seattle SuperSonics.

It was only the second 30-point game of Villanueva's career; the other was for 48 points as a Toronto Raptors rookie at Milwaukee on March 26, 2006.

Andrew Bogut added 21 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists for Milwaukee, which was playing without guard Mo Williams and forward Yi Jianlian, out with minor injuries.

Kevin Durant had 23 points for Seattle, which lost for the sixth time in seven games and dropped to 6-24 on the road.

Clippers 116, Kings 109 (2 OT)

LOS ANGELES -- Al Thornton scored 13 of his 27 points after regulation, Corey Maggette added 22 and Los Angeles Clippers rallied from a 17-point deficit.

Dan Dickau scored a season-high 20 points, helping Los Angeles snap a six-game losing streak.

Beno Udrih scored 25 points for the Kings. Ron Artest sat out because of a sore right foot and shooting guard Kevin Martin was sidelined with a bruised right thumb. The Kings are 0-9 this season against division rivals -- the only team in the league that hasn't beaten a club from its own division.
