Utah Jazz: Plaisted leaves it all on the floor
Final numbersThe Jazz brought 25 players to Utah for workouts in advance of the draft, down from 36 last year. "I just felt that we had a better handle on the players that we were interested in," general manager Kevin O'Connor said.
They did interview 10 players at the NBA's predraft camp in Orlando, Fla., last month -- including Nevada center JaVale McGee -- and scouted 24 players at a mass workout organized by Golden State on June 14.
The Jazz saw several players at that workout who did not visit Utah, including Western Kentucky guard Courtney Lee, Kansas guard Brandon Rush, Memphis guard Chris Douglas-Roberts, Kansas State forward Bill Walker, Memphis forward Joey Dorsey and French forward Nicolas Batum.
