Magloire promises to 'claw, grab, pull, fight' for Miami Heat this season
The bond with Riley runs deeper. Each wore No. 42 for the Wildcats.
"It was a big deal for me to wear his number because of the legacy heleft behind. I asked him last week. I said, 'Coach, why did I have anopportunity to wear your number? I watched Glory Road,'" Magloire said of themovie that featured Riley's role as the starting center for Rupp's Runts inthe 1966 NCAA championship game. "He just kind of laughed. But he's a Hall ofFamer at this level. I don't see why he's not a Hall of Famer at thecollegiate level. It was an honor to wear his number."
