Utah Jazz: Utah can't match up: Fesenko gets shot at Shaq
After spending the bulk of last season in the NBA Development League, Fesenko said playing O'Neal was a lesson in how much he must improve his defense, rebounding and conditioning.
"It was a great experience," he said.
Phoenix's Matt Barnes scored a game-high 21 points with 13 rebounds while Kyle Korver led the Jazz with 16 points on 7 of 11 shooting. Carlos Boozer, Amare Stoudemire and Leandro Barbosa all sat out for various reasons.
"We looked like we didn't even care," Sloan said. "That's a huge concern to me. We didn't rebound the basketball, we didn't defend very well, we didn't shoot our free throws. Those are indications that you're really not into it."
