Some NBA millionaires simply get paid to sit
Salmons laughed when told of the "get-right" concept. He laughed almost as hard as I did during Friday's victory over Minnesota when he shocked Timberwolves defender Rashad McCants with a hard drive left for an easy basket.
McCants looked as if he were guarding Casper the Ghost and couldn't figure out where Salmons had gone. For once, he didn't "get right."
Thoughts on Thompson Rookie forward Jason Thompson was wheezing last week and didn't receive many minutes from coach Reggie Theus after the Kings returned from their four-game road horror.
I'd be compelled either to not let him dress or play him until his tongue dragged.
By the way, Thompson's skill set reminds me some of Walker, a three-time All-Star.
Envision Thompson and Spencer Hawes remaining healthy and how productive they might be in two seasons.
