Jackson, a second-round pick out of Kansas, played in 24 games for Cleveland this season. He averaged one point and 1.2 rebounds. He was available to play in Monday night's game against Utah.
Jackson got off to a slow start with the Cavaliers after breaking his left wrist in October.
The 6-foot-8, 250-pounder, who started for the Jayhawks' 2008 NCAA title team, was selected by Miami with the No. 52 overall pick in last year's draft. The Cavaliers acquired him for a 2009 second-round pick.
