Raptors sign guard Douby for next season

TORONTO -- The Toronto Raptors have signed guard Quincy Douby for the rest of this season and for 2009-10.

The Raptors signed Douby to a 10-day contract March 24, then re-signed him April 2. Toronto has two games remaining.

Douby began the season with Sacramento but was released Feb. 21. He played in five games with the Erie Bayhawks of the NBA D-League before signing with Toronto.

A first-round pick of Sacramento in 2006, Douby is averaging 4.4 points and 1.2 rebounds in 26 games.
