Diener waived by Pacers after playing only four games
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana Pacers waived point guard Travis Diener, who played in only four games with Indiana this season because of a foot injury.
The 6-foot-1 guard had surgery after injuring the big toe of his left foot in late September.
Diener had averaged 5.4 points and 3.0 assists in playing 121 games since Indiana signed the former Marquette star as a free agent in 2007. He also played two seasons in Orlando.
