WASHINGTON -- The injury-depleted Washington Wizards have signed forward Larry Owens from the NBA Development League's Tulsa 66ers and re-signed guard-forward Othyus Jeffers for the season's last five games.

Washington also waived guard-forward Cartier Martin on Wednesday. Martin has a stress fracture in his left foot and is one of a half-dozen Wizards ruled out for the season.

Jeffers is averaging 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in 11 games with Washington. He was called up from the NBADL's Iowa Energy on March 17, then signed a second 10-day contract on March 27.

Owens signed consecutive 10-day contracts with the San Antonio Spurs earlier this season and averaged 1.3 points in seven games.

Martin averaged four points and 1.4 rebounds in 52 games this season.
