--Coach Erik Spoelstra said to expect more Eddy Curry in upcoming games, after taking a measured approach at the start of the veteran center's comeback from hip and conditioning issues.
"The next few games, I'll probably make an effort to take a look at Eddy, as he gets in better condition," he said.
"With all of our centers, that can change, depending on the game, depending on the circumstances of the game and the opponent."
Spoelstra had spent recent weeks choosing between Curry and second-year pro Dexter Pittman behind starting center Joel Anthony.
--It has been a whirlwind week for Heat first-round pick Norris Cole, the point guard out of Cleveland State.
Taken No. 28 overall, Cole had the opportunity to test himself against Cleveland's Kryie Irving, the Cavaliers point guard taken with the No. 1 overall pick out of Duke last June, and then Brandon Knight, the Pistons point guard taken No. 8 out of Kentucky.
Cole said it reminded him of his pre-draft workouts.
"Every chance I got to go against another top guard, I went at 'em," he said.
Although not getting as much playing time, Cole said he is appreciative of not having to battle from the bottom of the standings like Irving and Knight.
"Everyone wants to be with a winner, especially with a championship-contending team," Cole said. "So I'm blessed to be where I am, and I'm taking advantage of it."
