Roster Report
PLAYER NOTES
--F Kris Humphries had a solid game, scoring 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. He set new personal records for free throws made (10) and attempted (12) as he reached double figures in points and rebounds for the 10th time this season. Humphries was especially strong in the third period, scoring 10 during that stretch.
--G Jordan Farmar had another strong outing off the bench, scoring 19 points in 24 minutes, connecting on 7-of-13 from the floor and 3-of-7 from 3-point range. It was the 13th time Farmar reached double figures off the bench.
--G Deron Williams had a double-double, scoring 21 points and dishing off 11 assists. Williams was 7-of-19 from the floor and 3-of-7 from 3-point range as he played 45 of the 48 minutes.
MEDICAL WATCH
--G MarShon Brooks suffered a broken right pinky toe during practice last Monday and he is now out indefinitely, according to the Nets' official release. There was some speculation that the talented rookie, second on the team in scoring at 15.2 points per game, could return to action sometime in late February.
--C Mehmet Okur was once again out of action Saturday night, still suffering from back spasms. Okur underwent an MRI earlier in the week that showed no structural damage but there has been no timetable set for his return.
--F DeShawn Stevenson remained out of action Saturday night after going down with an injured right knee in Sunday's game. Stevenson will be shut down for an extended stint and will be re-evaluated on Feb. 14.
--F Damion James has now officially been declared out for the season after undergoing surgery last December to replace a screw in the fifth metatarsal in his foot. James, who only played 25 games last year and just seven this year, has more than likely played his last game with the Nets after the team decided not to pick up his third-year option last week.
--C Brook Lopez is on the injured list with a broken foot that required surgery six weeks ago. Lopez said last week that the protective boot on his surgically-repaired right foot has been removed. He has begun light workouts (lifting weights, standing jump shots) in his rehabilitation, but there is still no timetable for his return.
