Kidd returns from injured calf
--Mavericks guard Jason Kidd made his return from a strained left calf after missing six consecutive games. Overall, Kidd has missed 10 games in this truncated season. Kidd hit two three-pointers in the fourth quarter and finished with eight points, 10 assists and four rebounds.
--Dallas took advantage of sloppy play the Timberwolves. Minnesota committed 28 turnovers, the most the Mavs have forced this season. Dallas cashed them in for 30 points.
QUOTE TO NOTE
"I think it's good to get him back these few games before the All-Star break so he can kind of get his flow back. He's one of the best to ever do it, period." -- Mavs guard Delonte West, on the return of Jason Kidd.
