Hawks now have Magic's number
--The Hawks were once a team that the Magic could dominate easily, but the tide in this series has changed dramatically. The Magic lost their fourth consecutive regular season game to the Hawks. They also lost the first-round playoff series to the Hawks, 4-2, last spring, which is what started Dwight Howard toward his demand to be traded. It was after the playoff loss when Howard came to the conclusion that his supporting cast was not good enough.
--It should come as no surprise that the Magic do not have any slashers -guys who can get to the basket on their own -- on the court in crunch time. They are a team built with three-point shooters who get open shots when Dwight Howard commands a double-team around the basket. The Magic are leading the league again in three-pointers made (263) and three-pointers attempted (672). They led the league last season in both categories. "When you have a dominant big man like Dwight, and great shooters like we have, that's how you play," said guard Jameer Nelson.
QUOTE TO NOTE
"I have no idea." -- Magic coach Stan Van Gundy, when asked how he can get Hedo Turkoglu to start playing well again.
