Bulls continue to roll on the road

  •

No NBA team takes care of business quite like coach Tom Thibodeau's Bulls. With Friday's 95-64 victory at Charlotte, they've won four straight road games by at least 20 points.

In the previous three wins over Milwaukee, New Jersey and New Orleans, the Bulls sprinted to a commanding lead right off the opening tip. The latest victory was a little different. The Bobcats stayed within 13-10 midway through the first quarter before the Bulls started to pull away.

The lead reached 26 points early in the third quarter and it was never much of a contest. The Bulls did all that without guard Derrick Rose, who sat out to rest a sore back. Center Joakim Noah led the way with 17 points and 14 rebounds.

Whether the Bulls should take any pride in pounding the league's bad teams is open to debate. But these victories could help them get home-court advantage for the playoffs.

"Our team's attitude and approach to the games have been very good," Thibodeau said. "I don't think it changes from game to game and I think that's really important. We don't want to look behind. We don't want to look ahead. We just want to stare at exactly what's in front of us."

Since losing at Golden State in the second game of the season, the Bulls have won 17 straight against opponents that currently have losing records.

Next up is the last stop of their nine-game road trip on Sunday in Boston. A win would give the Bulls a 7-2 mark on the trek and also clinch the All-Star coaching slot for Thibodeau.
