Ball control a problem against Nuggets
--The Pacers turned the ball over at least 20 times for just the second time this season. All five starters had at least two turnovers, with forward Danny Granger turning the ball over a game-high five times. The Pacers had 23 turnovers in their 35-point loss to Miami last month.
--The Pacers know how to make a player known more for his defense look like he's an offensive force. Denver's Corey Brewer, who is known for his defense, followed up Memphis' Marreese Speights' 19 points on Friday by scoring 19 of his own on Saturday. Brewer, who was 8-of-16 from the field, scored the majority of his points against forward Danny Granger.
QUOTE TO NOTE
"Obviously disappointed in the loss. I thought our transition defense was good most of the night, which it has to be against this team. We had too many turnovers. That probably cost us the game." --Coach Frank Vogel.
