Roster Report

The Sports Xchange

--G Rodney Stuckey had a game-high 23 points and eight assists against San Antonio Tuesday. Stuckey worked hard for his points, barging into the lane to make 8-of-12 shots while getting to the free-throw line 10 times. Stuckey's assist total was a season high. He has reached double digits in all but four of the 25 games he's played this season and is now averaging 13.4 points per game.

--C Greg Monroe had one of his worst nights of the season, shooting 2-of-11 from the field and scoring four points. That tied his season low -- he also scored four at Houston last month. Monroe had been averaging 21.3 points this month but was stymied by Tim Duncan's defense. He didn't reenter in the fourth quarter because Ben Wallace was playing so well.

--G Walker Russell Jr. played eight minutes Tuesday, his second-shortest stint in 15 games since he was signed away from the D-League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Coach Lawrence Frank decided to shorten his guard rotation to three players in the second half, sticking with Stuckey, Brandon Knight and Ben Gordon as the Pistons eventually climbed back into the game. Russell remains the primary backup point guard behind Knight and ahead of five-year veteran Will Bynum.
