--G Rodney Stuckey has put together his best back-to-back outings of the season. He followed up his two three-point, eight-assist night against San Antonio on Tuesday with a 25-point, four-assist performance against Boston Wednesday. Stuckey drove into the lane and forced fouls, then took advantage of those opportunities by making all 11 of his free throws. He also made a defensive impact, helping to hold Ray Allen to one basket and cooling down Rajon Rondo in the late going.
"Rodney has played at a very high level the last two games," coach Lawrence Frank said. "He's playing hard at both ends."
--C Ben Wallace seems to have taken a few sips from the fountain of youth this week. After frustrating Tim Duncan in the second half and scoring a season-high nine points against the Spurs, he grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds against the Celtics in just 16 minutes. That was his highest total since he pulled down 11 against Orlando last January. Wallace set the NBA record for most games played by an undrafted player against San Antonio.
--G Ben Gordon had 22 points against Boston, including four three-pointers in the fourth quarter. That was his best offensive outing since he scored 26 against Orlando Jan. 2. Gordon was a starter until missing 10 games with a sore left shoulder. He has now settled into a sixth-man role, averaging 13.4 ppg in five games since he returned to action.
"My shoulder is feeling a lot better," he said. "The time off really helped."
