--There's a chance the Cavs will sign G Ben Uzoh to a second 10-day contract. "We're going to keep him around a little longer," Coach Byron Scott said. "We talked about keeping three point guards. We'll have to see." He made his debut with the Cavs on Saturday in their loss to Philadelphia. He dished out two assists, had three rebounds and two points in 5 minutes, 24 seconds.

--Coach Byron Scott said there's a simple reason why G Ramon Sessions' assist numbers were so high while he was in the starting lineup. He averaged 12.3 assists in the three games. "Guys are just making shots," he said. "If you look at his assists, half of them went to (Antawn Jamison)."

QUOTE TO NOTE
"He knows everything we told him to run. We gave him a short playbook, but he has it down pat. The scary part is we have four or five guys who aren't even close to him. That's the scary part. It's either that he is very, very smart, or we've got four guys that are very, very dumb." -- Cavs coach Byron Scott on how quickly guard Ben Uzoh has picked up the offense.
