--C Marc Gasol came close to a dubious quadruple double vs. the Nuggets on Friday nighit. He had 16 points and team-highs of 14 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 turnovers. His assists total was his season-high, two short of his career best 10 vs. the Clippers in March 2009.

--More often than not, if Griz reserve G O.J. Mayo comes off the bench and hits his first couple of shots, he stays in rhythm most of the night. Though Mayo has struggled lately, averaging just 8 points and shooting 26 percent in his last five games prior to Friday night, he scored 17 points on 7-of-14 field goals including 3-of-6 threes.

"I've had open looks lately, but just hadn't knocked them down," Mayo said. "Tonight I did, and I credit my teammates for looking for me."
