--C Anderson Varejao (fractured right wrist) is not expected back any time soon. When he was injured on Feb. 10, doctors said it was a four- to six-week injury. He's working on his fifth week. Coach Byron Scott said it wouldn't take many practices for Varejao to get ready to play. "(Varejao is) an energy-type player," Scott said. "You'd have to monitor his minutes because of how hard he plays."

--F Luke Harangody is one of the best big men in the D-League. He dominates at the D-League level. However, he's just a borderline NBA player. He's on assignment to the Canton Charge and earned the D-League Co-Performer of the Week award for March 5-11. The 6-foot-8 Harangody averaged 24.3 points, 14.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.7 blocks in three games. He returned to Cleveland for the Cavs-Raptors game on Tuesday. He said his success in the D-League has really helped his confidence. He said it feels like he's back at Notre Dame.

--G Kyrie Irving was 9 of 9 from the foul line in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win over Houston. He's the only rookie to make at least nine free throws without a miss in the fourth quarter this year. The last rookie to do that was Chris Paul on March 31, 2006, vs. Memphis. Irving is shooting a team-high 86.4 percent from the foul line, 92.7 percent in his last 17 games.
