--G Rodney Stuckey scored 35 points in the Pistons' victory at Sacramento Wednesday. He had 36 against the Kings in a 114-108 victory at The Palace last month. He blindsided the Kings this time with four three-pointers in the second half. That's a much-improved aspect of his game -- he's averaging a career-high 36.5 percent on three-point attempts. With center Greg Monroe scoring 32 points, the Pistons had two 30-point scorers for the first time since Allen Iverson scored 38 and Richard Hamilton had 30 against Utah on Dec. 19, 2008.
--G Brandon Knight had 10 points, a career-high 11 assists and no turnovers against the Kings. Knight racked up 21 assists against the Kings in two victories this season without making a turnover. He also had a 10-assist, 0-turnover game against Charlotte in January. In games where their rookie point guard doesn't commit a turnover, the Pistons are 6-2.
--F Vernon Macklin was assigned to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and is expected to make his D League debut Thursday against Erie. Macklin, one of two second-round picks last June, appeared in 19 games and averaged 1.4 points per game before he was sent down to get playing time during the Pistons' five-game West Coast trip. Macklin had been deactivated since Charlie Villanueva returned from a foot injury last weekend.
