--G Kyrie Irving could be back for Wednesday's home game against Philadelphia. He tested his sprained right shoulder at shootaround on Tuesday at The Palace of Auburn Hills (Mich.). He played three-on-three. Irving said it's up to the team doctors and coaching staff whether he'll play. Coach Byron Scott said much will depend on how he feels on Wednesday. He has missed the last nine games, as well as 10 of the last 11.
--G Anthony Parker is averaging 13.3 points in his last seven games. He had 10 points against the Pistons on Tuesday in the Cavs' 116-77 loss. Perhaps he has decided to end his career on a high note. He's expected to retire at the end of the season. If he doesn't, he probably won't be back with the Cavs.
QUOTE TO NOTE
"I think Donald has played well. I think he's getting adjusted to having to guard some of these first-tier point guards. He's a pretty bright young man. I think he'll learn as he goes along." - Cavs coach Byron Scott on how guard Donald Sloan has played.
