Vogel shortens rotation for playoffs

--Coach Frank Vogel is going with a shorter rotation in the playoffs. He's using G Leandro Barbosa, Paul George and Danny Granger in his three-man rotation on the wing. George will slide to small forward when Granger goes to the bench. Dahntay Jones is out of the rotation. "I like what Dahntay brings to the table," Vogel said. "I just like what Paul George brings to the table more, and if we can get more of Paul George out there I want to try and take advantage of it. It had nothing to do with anything Dahntay is not."

--Retired Pacers C Jeff Foster has enjoyed his early retirement so far. That changed some once he walked into Bankers Life Fieldhouse before the start of Game 1 of their playoff series on Saturday. Foster retired last month because of chronic back pain. He only played 11 games this season. "I really haven't missed playing as much as I thought I should, but walking in here and seeing the banners up and the seeing the intensity and mental approach of the guys makes me feel like I'm going to miss it," Foster said.

"We know we have to bounce back. We know it's a seven game series and we know this is the NBA." --G Darren Collison
