--C Joakim Noah turned himself into an offensive force during the Game 2 loss to Philadelphia. He hit 10-of-11 shots from the field for 21 points, and there weren't many layups or dunks in that total. Noah knocked down his outside jumper with confidence and also delivered some nice driving bank shots off the dribble.
--G C.J. Watson, faced with the tough task of replacing Derrick Rose in the starting lineup, scored 12 points with three assists Tuesday against the Sixers. Things got off to a pretty good start when the Bulls went the entire first quarter without a turnover. But Watson struggled defensively against Philadelphia's Jrue Holiday, who hit 11-of-15 shots for 26 points.
--G John Lucas III gave the Bulls a nice offensive boost in the second quarter of the Game 2 loss to the Sixers. He scored 11 points in a 23-12 run that ended the first half with the Bulls ahead 55-47. By the time Lucas returned to the game late in the third quarter, the Bulls trailed by nine and he couldn't do much to stop the Sixers' surge.
--Guard Derrick Rose (torn ACL, left knee) suffered through a number of injuries this season and the worst occurred with just over a minute remaining in Saturday's Game 1 win over Philadelphia. Rose drove the lane, came to a jump stop with both feet and collapsed onto the ground. He'll be out for the remainder of the playoffs and will likely miss the start of next season.
