ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - As thoroughly as Orlando has been beaten in its past two games to fall into a 2-1 series hole against Indiana, there is still confidence in the Magic locker room.
Coach Stan Van Gundy showed his team several key statistics during Thursday's practice session, but says the biggest problem for them is a lack of energy. It is manifesting itself in the first and third quarters, where the Magic have been outscored 69-56 and 81-43, respectively.
The Pacers have also shut down the scoring of forward Ryan Anderson, who came into the playoffs as the Magic's leading scorer with Dwight Howard gone for the season following back surgery.
Van Gundy said he hopes the two days between games will help solve their issues before Saturday's Game 4.
