Ilgauskas, 27, was stopped at 3:59 a.m. Sunday for erratic driving in
Bay Village, Ohio, and he failed field sobriety tests, police Lt. John
Dixon said.
Dixon said a Breathalyzer test showed that Ilgauskas, of Avon Lake,
Ohio, had a blood-alcohol level in excess of 0.10, Ohio's legal limit.
Ilgauskas was alone in the vehicle and cooperated with police.
He was released on a personal bond Monday and must appear Wednesday in
court.
The 7-foot-3 Ilgauskas played in 62 games and averaged 11.1 points and
5.4 rebounds last season after being limited to just 29 games in the
previous three seasons because of foot injuries.
