ATLANTA -- Boston Celtics guard
Tony Delk missed Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks to spend
time with his sick daughter.
Celtics spokesman Bill Bonsiewicz said Delk flew to Charlotte to be with
his daughter, who is battling a case of pneumonia that's exacerbated by
sickle cell anemia.
Delk left the team after Friday night's 105-98 victory over the Hawks in
Boston. He finished with six points and four assists.
Delk, who had started all 12 of Boston's games this season, is averaging
12.8 points and 2.9 assists. He is scheduled to rejoin the Celtics for
practice Monday.
