MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks waived forward Marcus Haislip on Thursday and signed free agent forward Marcus Fizer.
Fizer, a first-round draft pick of the Chicago Bulls in 2000, had his best season for the Bulls in 2001-02, when he averaged 12.3 points in 76 games.
He had been selected by Charlotte in the NBA expansion draft in June and became an unrestricted free agent in July.
The Bucks selected Haislip with the 13th overall pick in the 2002 draft. He averaged 3.6 points and 1.5 rebounds in 70 games in two seasons with Milwaukee.
