Clippers place rookie Livingston on disabled list

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Clippers signed guard Maurice Baker to a 10-day contract Monday and placed guard Shaun Livingston on the disabled list with torn cartilage in his right shoulder.

Baker has averaged 16.9 points, 6.7 assists and 5.4 rebounds this season with the Dakota Wizards of the CBA.

Livingston injured his shoulder in the game against the Orlando Magic on Feb. 15 and is expected to be miss for three weeks. Livingston had missed 39 games while on the injured list with a dislocated right kneecap before being activated on Feb. 12.

In 13 games, Livingston has averaged 5.5 points and 3.3 assists.
