Pistons clinch Central Division title

At Seattle, Tracy McGrady scored 38 points for Houston, and the Rockets kept the SuperSonics from clinching the Northwest Division for a fifth straight game.

Ray Allen led Seattle with 18 points, but made only 7 of 22 shots. The Sonics, who have been trying to wrap up the division title for more than a week, dropped their fifth straight.

Yao Ming had 20 points and 13 rebounds for Houston.

Nuggets 122, Warriors 106

At Denver, Carmelo Anthony scored 11 of his 32 points during a key third-quarter run and Andre Miller had 16 assists, helping Denver clinch a playoff berth.

DerMarr Johnson had 20 points for Denver, which won for the 22nd time in 24 games.

Baron Davis had 28 points and Jason Richardson added 26 for the Warriors.

Suns 108, Lakers 97

At Los Angeles, Joe Johnson had 26 points and Phoenix hit a franchise-record 19 3-pointers.

Johnson made six 3s and Jim Jackson hit seven to finish with 25 points for the Suns, who took a one-game lead over San Antonio for the Western Conference's best record.

Kobe Bryant had 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Lakers lost for the 15th time in 17 games.
