Warriors sign second-round pick Taft
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP ) The Golden State Warriors signed second-round draft choice Chris Taft to a multiyear contract Thursday.
Taft, who played two seasons at Pittsburgh, was the 42nd pick in the June draft. The 6-foot-10 center led the Big East with a .580 field goal percentage last season when he averaged 13.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.72 blocks.
Taft played with the Warriors in the summer league in Las Vegas last month, averaging 7.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
