Morris turned in 16 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, four steals, and one assist in 33 minutes during the Wizards' 118-113 win against the Nets on Monday.

After posting a season-high four steals, Morris is now averaging a career-best 1.3 steals per game through 19 contests in 2016-17. While he has struggled to make shots for much of the year, Morris has done well on defense and earned enough trips to the charity stripe (3.5 attempts per night) to help keep his averages afloat despite having a poor field-goal percentage.

Wall scored 52 points (18-31 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 11-14 FT) and added eight assists, four rebounds, and three steals in 42 minutes during Tuesday's 124-116 loss to the Magic.

Wall set his career high for scoring, but did not get enough help from his teammates to secure a win. This was the first time Wall had fewer than 10 assists in the past five games, but part of that is due to the poor shooting of his teammates - the rest of his team shot only 41.9 percent on the night. In his first nine appearances this season, Wall averaged 32.6 minutes, 22.9 points, and 8.4 assists. Since then, he has averaged 39.2 minutes, 25.2 points, and 11.1 assists. The early season limitations placed on Wall following his offseason knee surgeries are clearly over with, and Wall's recent pace would set career highs in minutes, points, and assists.

Beal scored 26 points (8-15 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT) and added five assists and three rebounds in 37 minutes during Thursday's 92-85 win over the Nuggets.

Beal has stepped up his play of late. Over his last 10 games, he has averaged 26.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.0 threes, all of which are significant improvements off of his numbers from earlier in the season. Beal has struggled with injuries throughout his career, but as long as he can stay healthy, he is on pace for his best season yet.

News
Satoransky (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in Tuesday's 124-116 win over the Magic.

After averaging 17.4 minutes per game over the Wizards' first 17 contests, it appears Satoransky has fallen out of coach Scott Brooks' rotation. He's logged a grand total of four minutes over the last three contests, as Kelly Oubre and Trey Burke seem to have absorbed most of his playing time.

News
Burke scored two points (1-2 FG) and added three assists in six minutes during Tuesday's 124-116 loss to the Magic.

With John Wall averaging 35.9 minutes per game this season and competition from Tomas Satoransky, minutes have been few and far between this season for Burke. Over the last ten games, the 24-year-old has been limited to only 9.4 minutes per contest, averaging 3.7 points and 1.5 assists. While the Wizards continue to ride Wall hard to try and turn their season around, playing time will remain limited for Burke.

News
Porter scored nine points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt) and added five rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block in 36 minutes during Thursday's 92-85 win over the Nuggets.

Porter salvaged some fantasy value with his steals and his block, but this was not a good night for Porter. It was his second poor performance in a row, and unlike on Tuesday, he cannot blame Thursday's showing on foul trouble. The silver lining here is that, both nights, Porter's backup Kelly Oubre Jr, was also generally unimpressive. It is worth noting that Oubre outplayed Porter for much of the preseason, and some expected Oubre to siphon minutes from Porter during the regular season. Porter performed well enough through the first month of the season to have probably earned the right to try to play his way through this slump, but managers may want to keep an eye on whether or not Porter continues to outplay Oubre.
