Cavaliers' LeBron James: Posts triple-double in Big Easy
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

James posted 26 points (11-21 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT) with 12 assists, 10 rebounds and two steals over 44 minutes in Monday's 124-122 loss against the Pelicans.

It was LeBron's first triple-double since Nov. 27, and just his fourth of the season. He has 20 or more points in each of his past four outings, and 13 of the past 14 games. The good news is LeBron did not look fatigued after logging 45 minutes in Saturday's overtime loss against the Spurs. The bad news is that fantasy owners are likely to see the star resting more after the All-Star break as Tyronn Lue preserves The King for the stretch run.

Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving: Hits eight triples in loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Irving erupted for a season-high 49 points (15-28 FG, 8-14 3Pt, 11-11 FT) while adding four assists, two rebounds, two steals and a blocked shots across 42 minutes in Monday's 124-122 loss against the Pelicans.

Irving has posted 10 or more buckets in each of his past three games, and six of his past nine outings. He is averaging 34.7 points, 5.7 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals over his past three starts, putting plenty of smiles on the faces of fantasy owners lately.

Cavaliers' LeBron James: Will play Monday vs. Pelicans
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Coach Tyronn Lue confirmed that James wouldn't be rested for Monday's game against the Pelicans, Rod Walker of the New Orleans Advocate reports.

Despite logging 45 minutes in Saturday's overtime loss to the Spurs and playing 35-plus minutes in 11 of the last 12 games, James won't get a breather as the Cavaliers embark on a four-game week. James has averaged 38.1 minutes per game dating back to the beginning of December, and it's expected that he'll continue to hold down heavy workloads through the All-Star break until Lue makes a more concerted effort to get him rest prior to the beginning of the postseason. If James is wilting from the expanded workload, it hasn't been reflected in his production. He's averaging 21.2 points, 8.6 assists, 7.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.2 three-pointers over the last five games while shooting 51.4 percent from the floor.

Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving: Scores efficient 29 vs. Spurs
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Irving contributed 29 points (13-22 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT), nine assists, three rebounds and two steals across 41 minutes during a 118-115 overtime loss to the Spurs on Saturday.

Irving tied LeBron James with a team-high 29 points in the loss. His nine assists were a team high and the most he's handed out since he totaled 12 assists on Dec. 29 against the Celtics. After Irving had shot below 50 percent in four straight contests, he has rebounded by shooting at least 50 percent in two straight games. He will look to maintain the hot shooting against the Pelicans on Monday.

Cavaliers' Kevin Love: Double-doubles in return from one-game absence
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Love (back) returned to the floor and produced 13 points (4-15 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds and three assists across 36 minutes during a 118-115 overtime loss to the Spurs on Saturday.

Love returned from a one-game absence but struggled with his shot in the loss. His shooting has been a big problem lately, as over his last five games played, he is shooting just 30.3 percent from the field. Love did at least manage to snag his fifth double-double of the new year. He will look to find his shot against the Pelicans on Monday.
