Pacers' Lavoy Allen: Has option declined
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Allen is slated to become an unrestricted free agent after the Pacers informed him they will not exercise his $4 million contract option, Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports reports.

Allen signed a three-year deal with Indiana back in 2015 and has gone on to average just 4.3 points and 4.6 rebounds since then. This past season, he saw his minutes slip to a career-low 14.3 per game. After his option was declined, the 28-year-old will hit the open market when free agency begins July 1st.

Pacers' Ike Anigbogu: Drafted by Pacers
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Anigbogu was selected by the Pacers with the 47th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Projected to be an early-second-round pick, Anigbogu slipped further than expected. The 18-year-old is still very raw, and could see some time in the D-League this season. He averaged just 4.7 points and 4.0 rebounds at UCLA during his freshman season. His offensive game is underdeveloped, but his 7'6" wingspan and athleticism make him a potentially dangerous defender.

Pacers' Paul George: Expected to leave Indiana in summer of 2018
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

George informed the Pacers organization that he plans to leave the team and become a free agent in the summer of 2018, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

With a full season still ahead of George before the summer of 2018, things could obviously change, but it sounds like he's ready for a change of scenery. The Lakers are already being crowned the front runner for George's services going into the 2018-19 season, as he's originally from Southern California and also appears to be looking for a larger market. George is coming off a career year with averages of 23.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.9 steals, so with plenty left in the tank, the Pacers may dangle George's name out in trade proposals in order to get some sort of value out of him before he leaves for nothing as an unrestricted free agent in 2018.

Pacers' Monta Ellis: Slapped with five-game suspension
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Ellis has been suspended five games by the NBA for a violation of the league's anti-drug policy, Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio reports.

The NBA announced the suspension in a press release Friday but did not provide any further details. Assuming Ellis isn't able to get the suspension reduced, he'll be required sit out the first five games of the 2017-18 season. Following the news, the Pacers issued the following statement: "Monta's suspension is a very serious matter to our franchise and it will be dealt with accordingly." At this point, it's unclear if Ellis will face any further discipline from the team.
