--G Kirk Hinrich had a much better offensive game in his second Hawks start than in his first. He buried four of six from behind the three-point arc in Friday's loss to Oklahoma City during a 21-point effort. Hinrich had only three points, missing four of his five shots, in his Hawks home debut Wednesday against the Bulls.
--F Al Horford is a solid effort away from being a serious candidate for Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors. He's had three consecutive double-doubles this week, averaging 22.3 points and 14.7 rebounds against the Nuggets, Bulls and Thunder.
--G Jamal Crawford didn't shoot well off the bench (5-for-13), but he probably hurt the team most with his three turnovers. The Hawks had 16 turnovers in the game, which led to 27 Thunder points. Oklahoma City, on the other hand, turned the ball over just 10 times, leading to just nine Hawks points.
--F Josh Smith (sprained right knee) missed his second consecutive game Friday and is no sure thing to return on this homestand, which continues Sunday against the Knicks and wraps up Tuesday against the Lakers.
