Roster · Getting inside · Notes, quotes

--It was a tough night for Grizzlies F Zach Randolph. Even though he had his usual double-double with 24 points and 17 rebounds (10 offensive, four more than the Spurs' team total), but he made just 7-of-25 field goals against a clawing San Antonio defense.

"They (the Spurs) make it hard to get any clean looks," Randolph said.

--G Mike Conley scored nine of his 19 points in the fourth quarter, but couldn't get the Grizzlies on the scoreboard but once in the game's final 2:52.

--In second game back with the Grizzlies, F Shane Battier was his typical active self. He had eight points (including 2-of-4 threes), with four rebounds and four steals in 30:19.

"I didn't expect to play this much right away," Battier said.
