Notes, Quotes · Roster Report · Wright, Raptors downplay fine

--The conventional wisdom is that teams have more success on the start of back-to-backs than in the second games.

The Raptors are disproving that this year.

Toronto is 2-14 on the first half of back-to-backs this season and 5-11 on the second game.

--Toronto had a six-game winning streak over the Clippers end with a 94-90 loss on Saturday night.

It was also the first time the Clippers had beaten Toronto in Los Angeles since November 2005.

"The best way to put it -- it's not characteristic of me. I think that's why it's a thing of the past. That's probably the most I can say." -- F Julian Wright, on his refusal to enter Friday's game, which led to a fine from the team.
