NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Christina Wirth scored 21 points and No. 20 Vanderbilt routed Alabama 88-64 on Sunday. Merideth Marsh added 17 points, hitting five 3-pointers for the Commodores (17-5, 6-1 Southeastern Conference). Chanel Chisholm had 10 points and Jence Rhoads had eight assists. Wirth scored eight points during a 15-0 run that gave Vanderbilt the lead for good. Varisia Raffington scored a career-high 27 points, including seven 3-pointers, to lead Alabama (12-10, 0-7). Tierney Jenkins added 18 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. Alabama's last lead was at 15-14 after Jenkins' layup. The Tide got no closer than 18 in the second half.
